Irrfan Khan, sources reveal, has nailed yet another Hollywood biggie.
SpotboyE has it that the 49-year old actor will be seen in the big screen adaptation of Mohammed Hanif's A Case of Exploding Mangoes, a bestseller about a plane crash that led to the death of former Pakistan President- Muhammad Zia -ul-Haq.
Irrfan will be seen opposite Feryna Wazheir who was last seen in Raja Menon's Airlift. The film will be made on a spectacular scale.
Recently, Irrfan was offered a role in Hollywood film-maker Steven Spielberg's upcoming movie starring Scarlett Johansson- but the actor rejected it because he felt that the role did not have much scope for him.
Not too long ago, he said 'No' to Ridley Scott’s The Martian because he was busy shooting for Shoojit Sircar’s Piku.
A few days ago, he wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming Hollywood film Inferno, starring Tom Hanks.
